This position is for a non-permanent Corrections Specialist 4 within the Reentry Division, based out of DOC Headquarters in Tumwater, WA, with the possibility of working from an agreed-upon DOC office within WA state based on availability. The role involves statewide responsibilities for implementing a reentry-focused orientation program and Individual Reentry Planning processes, as per Executive Order 24-03. The position serves as a lead to Corrections Specialist 3 Reentry Navigators, providing leadership in the absence of Reentry Systems Managers. Key functions include assisting with complex problem resolution, approving purchase card expenditures, recommending courses of action, and training Reentry Navigators. The incumbent will model the Reentry Division’s purpose statement and contribute to the Department’s mission of improving public safety by positively changing lives through collaboration with stakeholders and the Reentry Systems team.
