As a Corrections Plant Mechanic, you will perform the following duties: Equipment Maintenance: Perform repairs and routine tasks to keep boilers, compressors, and water systems functioning correctly Water System Testing: Test water systems and maintain accurate logs of treatment supplies and results System Start-Up: Carry out seasonal start-up and shut-down procedures for chilled water and cooling tower systems Generator Support: Inspect and maintain standby generators, fuel tanks, batteries, and related equipment Inmate Oversight: Supervise inmate workers and maintain safe, secure work areas while monitoring movement and tool control.
