About The Position

This position is responsible for monitoring the activity of residents on an assigned shift ensuring accountability, safety, security, and compliance to corrections facility rules. Key responsibilities include monitoring client behavior and serving as a liaison between client and counselor, administering drug/alcohol testing as required, and maintaining accurate and complete logs for residents and the facility.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED AND One year experience performing security work OR Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
• Ability to read, write and communicate the English language.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a valid state drivers license.
