About The Position
Performs a variety of entry level certified or non-certified duties related to the security, safety, order, operation and maintenance of county jail facilities including detention and monitoring of inmates.
Requirements
- Graduation from High School or GED.
- Must be at least 19 years of age by 06/15/2026
- Candidates MUST attend ONE of the Testing and Interview Days to be considered.
- Run 1.5 miles in 16:11
- 14 push-ups (continuous exercise)
- Hold a plank position for 30 seconds (replaces sit-up requirement)
- Candidates must be able to pass an extensive background investigation
