Requirements
- Three years of experience in the production of goods or services; or An associate degree in industrial technology, operations management, business administration, or a related field; and one year of work experience in the production of goods or services; or An equivalent combination of experience and training, which includes one year of work experience in the production of goods or services.
- Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required.
- Meet the PA residency requirement.
- Be able to perform essential job functions.
- Pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements.
Responsibilities
- Train inmate workers in manufacturing and production tasks while promoting safe and proper tool use
- Maintain a secure work area and monitor movement, searches, and inventory to meet all safety requirements
- Use operational tracking systems to review orders, materials, and workflow needs to support effective factory operations
- Submit purchase requests for tools, equipment, and supplies to keep production running efficiently
- Review records and assist with goals to improve product quality and overall output
