Allen Correctional Center is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Corrections ARDC Specialist. In this vital role, you will manage inmate records, process intake and release data, serve on the Disciplinary Board, and participate in job boards that directly impact facility operations. This position handles highly confidential information and requires accuracy, professionalism, and sound judgment. Requirements

  • Three years of experience in offender records analysis, offender classification, offender pre-classification, security, or social services or as a probation or parole officer; OR Six years of full-time work experience in any field; OR A bachelor’s degree.
  • Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

Responsibilities

  • Manage inmate records, process intake and release data, serve on the Disciplinary Board, and participate in job boards that directly impact facility operations.
  • Maintain inmate records during intake and during the inmate’s length of sentence ensuring accuracy.
  • Participate in inmate job boards and assist with overall classification process.
  • This position has direct contact with inmates as a member of the Inmate Disciplinary Board.
