You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, document and report security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Possess at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security-related supervisor or manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to facility staff, visitors, and authorized personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, entrances, and parking areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and verify authorization for individuals entering or exiting restricted areas in accordance with facility policies.
  • Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and daily documentation; communicate observations and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
