About Wabash Valley Correctional Facility: Wabash Valley Correctional Facility is a multi‑level security facility located in Carlisle, Indiana, with a capacity of more than 2,200 incarcerated adult males. Role Overview: As the Release Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining incarcerated individual commitments to the Department of Correction. You will receive new or amended commitments from the courts, work closely with the Sentence Computation and Release Section, monitor pending charges and detainers, and manage temporary court-ordered releases. You will also serve as the facility liaison to the Indiana Parole Board, the court system, and all wanting authorities.
