The Washington State Department of Corrections (DOC) is seeking highly motivated and talented individuals for the positions of Correctional Officer 1 and/or 2, at the Clallam Bay Corrections Center (CBCC) in Clallam Bay, WA., and the Olympic Corrections Center (OCC) in Forks, WA. Both CBCC and OCC are staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The Clallam Bay Corrections Center (CBCC) is a 900 bed male facility located on the point of the Olympic Peninsula. It is 50 miles west of Port Angeles and looks out over the Strait of Juan de Fuca at Vancouver Island. This facility houses medium and close custody offenders. CBCC also operates an Intensive Management Unit. The Olympic Corrections Center (OCC) is a 381 bed male facility located near the Hoh Rainforest. This facility houses minimum security offenders and offers treatment, work, and vocational programs to help ready offenders to transition back into the community. OCC also has outside work crews to serve the community as well as fire crews that work alongside Department of Natural Resource employees.
