This position is responsible for carrying a caseload of offenders, which involves supportive counseling, conducting assessments, developing case plans, and answering and following up on offender questions and problems. The role also involves providing recommendations to the classification committee, assisting in major dynamic programs or coordinating specialized programs for offender rehabilitation (such as work assignments, work release, education, or recreation), and planning and coordinating transition (re-entry) prior to parole or release into the community.
