About The Position

The Corporate Volunteerism Manager will be responsible for working with Corporate teams across the US to establish a successful and meaningful volunteerism program. This role will research and adopt industry best practices and design a volunteerism program that aligns with The Home Depot Foundation's mission and meets employee engagement and corporate social responsibility strategies. The position is responsible for training and communication materials to support volunteer leaders, resource and partnership development, budget management, reporting and evaluation. Additionally, this role will be plan and execute annual volunteer projects in communities as part of national volunteer campaigns and in support of the aforementioned strategy. This position will participate in the ongoing development of policies, programs and practices based on a continued assessment of community needs, alignment with company business imperatives and measurement of community impact, business value and impact on corporate reputation.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States
  • 5 years of work experience
  • Bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement and manage a corporate volunteerism program to ensure associates can Give Back and make measurable impact on communities; incorporate industry best practices and lead design in remote and in-person environments.
  • Manage the program within specified budget and strategize on opportunities to invest into program and communities to further the program's goals.
  • Develop, train and align all stakeholders on a volunteer leader's network.
  • Execute 4–6 volunteer projects ranging from 25 to 400 volunteers.
