We are a vibrant, busy, and growing full-service law firm and looking to increase to its talented ranks of attorneys by adding an Associate Attorney with a demonstrated interest and experience of 2-5 years in Corporate Transactions.

Requirements

Juris Doctor degree (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Licensed to practice law in New York.
2-5 years of experience with Corporate Transactions.
Ability to build rapport with clients.
Experience in Transactional Law.
Demonstrated ability to be flexible.
Demonstrated ability to work independently with limited oversight.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize work tasks in an effective manner.
Proven ability to creatively accomplish organization goals while assessing and managing legal risk.
Collaborative with a can-do attitude balanced with the ability to gracefully communicate difficult messages.
Comfortable working with all levels of business professionals, including senior management and all colleagues at other departments in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Suite

Responsibilities

Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating NDAs, commercial sales, and evaluation of vendor agreements.
Familiarity with mergers and acquisitions.
Providing advice and negotiation support to clients regarding contractual provisions, compliance, risk mitigation, and assessment.
Thinking critically and on your feet.
Communicating concisely and persuasively.
Meeting and interacting with clients.
Working independently with limited oversight.
