Corporate & Transactional Associate Attorney
About The Position
Aligned Talent Acquisition is seeking to connect confidentially with Corporate & Transactional Associate Attorneys interested in exploring current or future opportunities with law firms. The recruiter works with Am Law 50, 100, and 200 firms, as well as small and midsize firms, regional firms, and sophisticated boutiques across multiple markets. This is an opportunistic search rather than an advertisement for a specific opening. Potential opportunities may offer more sophisticated transactions, greater deal responsibility and client interaction, stronger mentorship, flexibility, professional development, and advancement potential. Requirements
- Relevant experience in corporate, business, or commercial real estate transactions.
- Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating transactional agreements.
- Experience advising clients and managing transactions, coordinating due diligence, or working with deal teams may be a fit.
Nice To Haves
- Experience at an Am Law firm is not required; associates from firms of all sizes are welcome.
- Interest in more sophisticated transactions, greater deal responsibility, client interaction, mentorship, flexibility, professional development, or advancement.
Responsibilities
- Handle corporate and business transactions, potentially including mergers and acquisitions, entity formation, corporate governance, and general business matters.
- Handle commercial real estate transactions, potentially including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, development, and leasing.
- Draft, review, and negotiate purchase agreements, commercial contracts, financing documents, and other transactional agreements.
- Advise businesses, investors, lenders, or other clients on sophisticated transactions.
- Manage transactions, coordinate due diligence, and collaborate with clients and deal teams.
