About The Position

The Corporate Strategy & Transformation team at Schonfeld oversees the execution of the firm’s highest priority strategic initiatives across Investment, Operating, and Management Company Platform areas. Team members collaborate closely with the Firm’s Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to build alignment and drive change. The mission is to develop and create transparency on the firm’s most mission-critical strategic plans. As a Summer Analyst, you will be responsible for turning ideas into results, developing strategic roadmaps and operating playbooks that outline important milestones, requirements, and impact points of large cross-functional initiatives.

Requirements

• A curiosity for learning and a passion for defining problems and implementing solutions.
• Excellent organizational, communication and listening skills.
• A desire to learn more about Enterprise Project Management and Requirements Formalization.
• Basic understanding of the Stock Market.
• Strong Excel, PowerPoint, and Data Analysis skills.
• A keen, analytical eye with a high regard for attention to detail.
• Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Statistics or related field.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Data Visualizations/UI Design.
• SQL, Python and any other programming/database querying language knowledge/coursework.
• Interest or Experience in applying AI tools to organize and structure knowledge, and drive efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the planning and orchestration of key priorities across the organization.
• Develop strategic roadmaps and operating playbooks.
• Turn ideas into results.
• Set and track the firm’s Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) using the firm’s “Path Forward” framework.
• Gain domain experience across different functional areas supporting the Front, Middle, and Back Office.
• Acquire exposure to real-world problems intersecting finance and technology.
• Gain a fundamental understanding of system workflows, problem analysis, and stakeholder management.
• Learn how to leverage AI as a catalyst for Enterprise change.
