About The Position

Under the Chief Accounting Officer, this position completes and analyzes financial and statistical reporting and in support of all aspects of Company’s financial audit. This position ensures timely and accurate financial information and reporting, preparation of MD&A, research of GAAP related subjects and related activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration with emphasis on Accounting or Finance.
  • At least 10 years of accounting / finance experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in managerial role.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to prepare full set of GAAP consolidated financial statements, footnotes and MD&A.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial statement risks and internal controls over financial reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate with executive leadership.
  • Proficient with performing technical accounting research and drafting memorandums analyzing the application of accounting guidance.
  • Certified Public Accountant or MBA.

Nice To Haves

  • Hospital/healthcare experience is highly preferred.
  • Public accounting (audit) experience (Big 4 accounting firm preferred), 10Q/K reporting experience, SOX compliance experienced, and strong knowledge of GAAP – Highly Preferred.
  • Proficient in Windows based PC and business software applications, i.e., Microsoft Excel and Word Preferred.
  • Working knowledge of ERP Software preferred.
