About The Position

In a context of continuous organic growth and acquisitions, the senior financial analyst, based at the head office in Laval, Quebec, will report to the manager of financial reporting. They will participate in all activities related to financial reporting and consolidation in an international context. This position will evolve with the growth of the company. We are therefore looking for a candidate who will demonstrate flexibility and adaptability, and whose ideas will help improve processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, or the equivalent
  • Hold a CPA certification (auditor an asset) or equivalent experience
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, including 3 years in consolidation and financial reporting, ideally international
  • Knowledge of IFRS standards
  • Great attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent command of Excel and ease with systems
  • Effective communication style
  • Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines and to manage multiple files
  • Sense of organization, rigor, autonomy, proactivity and team spirit
  • Fluency in written & spoken English and French
  • Availability to travel periodically
  • CPA title
  • Worked in a public manufacturing or distribution company
  • Good communicator, in French and English, both written and spoken

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of OneStream or Oracle Hyperion and/or Workiva software

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the monthly, quarterly and annual consolidation process for all group entities
  • Prepare the financial statements, notes and analysis that are part of the process of producing the consolidated financial statements and the quarterly and annual management reports
  • Prepare analysis for senior management supporting decision-making
  • Participate in the process of consolidating quarterly forecasts and annual budgets
  • Validate data integrity in the consolidation system
  • Participate in the improvement and maintenance of the consolidation system and of the financial documents production system
  • Participate in the improvement of processes for the production of analyzes and financial statements
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of the group's accounting policies
  • Interact with external auditors during verification processes
  • Participate in special projects of the corporate team such as business combinations and fiscal reorganisations
