About The Position

The Squires Group is seeking a Corporate Security Specialist – Policy & Training to support enterprise security initiatives through policy development, training, project coordination, and security operations support. This role will help strengthen security programs that protect personnel, facilities, assets, and business operations while partnering with stakeholders across the organization. Work is performed onsite in Springfield, VA.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2–5 years of experience in corporate security, physical security, investigations, law enforcement, military, intelligence, personnel security, or a related field.
  • Experience writing policies, procedures, training materials, or operational documentation.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting enterprise security programs in corporate, government, defense, critical infrastructure, or financial services environments.
  • Background in military, law enforcement, intelligence, or corporate security.
  • Experience developing and delivering employee training.
  • Familiarity with investigations, insider threat, counterintelligence, threat assessment, executive protection, or supply chain security.
  • Experience in a SOC or GSOC environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, standards, and related documentation.
  • Create and deliver security awareness training, briefings, presentations, and communications.
  • Support programs including physical security, personnel security, insider threat, workplace violence prevention, supply chain security, and executive protection awareness.
  • Manage security-related projects, track deliverables, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support physical security operations, including access control, visitor management, surveillance, and facility security initiatives.
  • Assist with investigations, incident documentation, corrective actions, and program improvements.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, executive summaries, and presentations for leadership.
  • Support ongoing security program enhancements and awareness campaigns.
