Requirements

  • 2+ years of security experience
  • Exceptional organization; a self-starter who is quality-focused and takes ownership
  • Clear, confident verbal and written communication
  • Calm, decisive judgment under pressure; high alertness
  • Strong interpersonal skills with colleagues at all levels
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts, holidays, and weekends; irregular schedules occur
  • Outstanding attendance and an excellent “on time” record
  • Ability to walk up to two miles per shift and climb stairs
  • Valid Ohio driver’s license

Responsibilities

  • Administer access control for employees and guests; verify credentials and issue temporary badges
  • Monitor all Euclid fire and security alarms (corporate monitors sales offices and distribution centers; Mentor monitors Mentor)
  • Track and respond to all radio communications
  • Serve as the company’s 911 (2222) (6222) emergency response center
  • Operate as Incident Command dispatch for critical events; deploy ETM’s
  • Coordinate emergency response with local police and fire
  • Patrol facilities, enforce parking rules, monitor surveillance, and inspect buildings
  • Cover the truck entrance as needed; verify shipping/receiving papers, assign docks, issue gate passes, and scale raw material and scrap
  • Monitor railroad traffic entering and leaving the property
  • Represent the company to all guests; interpret and enforce policies and procedures
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, supporting the Company’s RISE Strategy
