About The Position

The Corporate Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by monitoring premises and patrolling assigned locations. Officers observe and report activities and incidents, preserve order, and enforce site regulations and directives concerning personnel, visitors, and the area. They may also provide customer service and information to client employees and customers. No experience is necessary; training is provided for candidates new to the security industry.

Requirements

Strong or excellent customer service skills.
Ability to complete patrols.
Strong technology skills, including using a cell phone and computer.
Pass a drug screen and background check.
Meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.
Ability to meet the role's physical requirements, including frequent sitting, standing, and walking, sometimes for long periods; climbing stairs; and walking on inclines and uneven terrain.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

CPR, first aid/AED, or BLS certification; certification may be provided if not already held.
Prior security or customer service experience.
Retail, food service, or hospitality industry background.
