About The Position

Veterans Covert Protection Group (VCPG) is hiring Unarmed Corporate Security Officers for a private campus in Atherton, CA. VCPG is a veteran-owned California security company (PPO No. 120668) providing executive protection, corporate security, campus security, residential security, and special event security. Our officers work in business attire rather than uniform, matched to the environment of the site.

Requirements

Residence within a 30-minute drive of Atherton for rapid response.
Minimum five years of professional security experience.
Active California BSIS Guard Card and current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification prior to hire.
Ability to pass a full background investigation, California Live Scan fingerprinting, and a multipanel drug screen.
High school diploma or GED required.
Strong verbal and written communication, and proven discretion with sensitive information.
Polished appearance, a service-focused approach, and sound conflict resolution skills.

Nice To Haves

Corporate, executive protection, or private campus experience preferred.
Coursework in criminal justice or security administration is a plus.
English and Spanish fluency is highly valued.

Responsibilities

Patrol and access control. Conduct perimeter and facility rounds, manage visitors, verify badges, and monitor security systems.
Emergency response. Stay composed under pressure and follow post orders and site protocols precisely.
Documentation. Complete accurate incident reports and daily activity logs using digital reporting software, email, and a smartphone.
Availability. Dependable and punctual, with flexibility for overtime, weekends, holidays, and schedule changes.
