About The Position

Amalgamated Bank seeks a Corporate Security Manager responsible for the oversight and administrative management of Physical Security for Amalgamated Bank branches and offices, including related persons and property within.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the adherence and oversight of Physical Security policy and procedures
  • Manage and program network access control systems and associated ID cards for HQ, branches and DC corporate offices.
  • Implements daily changes and access updates such as mandatory leave, expirations, extensions and terminations.
  • Conduct fingerprint screening and assist HR with the onboarding of new hires and contractors.
  • Oversee background screening results and expand research if necessary.
  • Assist HR with terminations and when necessary, exiting employees.
  • Manage bank-wide CCTV surveillance systems while serving as a point of contact for law enforcement and / or government agency requests.
  • Maintain Physical Security reports regarding service calls, security incidents, opening and closing procedures, equipment maintenance, and device testing.
  • Updates Corporate Security reports: tracks records for service calls, incident reports, equipment and alarm maintenance checks.
  • Collects monthly security device test reports and weekly opening/closing procedure reports from branches for Corporate Security tracking and audits
  • Serve as emergency contact for alarm response.
  • Support business units by providing secure area access reports.
  • Manage vendor relationships and coordinate maintenance, repair and installation of Physical Security equipment such as readers, electronic surveillance and alarms.
  • Monitor and report on geographic alerts and / or events regarding potential threats within the Amalgamated Bank footprint.
  • Manage guard coverage for Amalgamated Bank locations and assist in executive protection services upon request.
  • Manage billing and invoice workflow within the Avid system.
  • Perform periodic HQ walk-throughs to identify and address security deficiencies and maintain adequate threat coverage.
  • Assist in coordinating HQ events such as board meetings and private client events.
  • Provide scheduled and specialized training.
  • Perform other duties as directed.
