About The Position

As a Corporate Sales Manager, you'll focus on growing weekday business by building relationships with corporate clients, nonprofits, associations, and community organizations. You'll own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and networking to consultations, proposals, and closing business—while helping clients create memorable events at our beautiful venues. This role is ideal for a driven sales professional who enjoys building relationships, uncovering new opportunities, and creating customized event solutions. You'll work closely with venue leadership and operations teams to ensure every event is executed flawlessly while contributing to the continued growth of Wedgewood Weddings nationwide.

  • Event, hospitality, catering, hotel, or venue sales experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute outside sales strategies to generate corporate, nonprofit, and association business.
  • Prospect for new clients through networking, cold outreach, referrals, community involvement, and social media.
  • Identify new business opportunities through market research and relationship development.
  • Drive revenue by maximizing weekday event bookings across assigned venues.
  • Build, maintain, and grow a pipeline of prospective and repeat clients using Salesforce.
  • Conduct site tours, consultations, and needs assessments to create customized event solutions.
  • Prepare professional proposals and presentations that align with client goals and company standards.
  • Build long-term client relationships that generate repeat business and referrals.
  • Partner with venue operations teams to ensure seamless event execution from booking through completion.
  • Assist clients with event planning, coordinating food and beverage, room layouts, décor, and additional services.
  • Monitor guest feedback and online reviews while following up to resolve concerns and strengthen client relationships.
  • Collaborate with teammates by participating in sales meetings, BEO meetings, and cross-training opportunities.
