About The Position

This position is for a Corporate Safety Manager in the Electrical Industry, located in the Central Mississippi area. The role involves identifying best practices and leading continuous improvement initiatives to reduce work process risks, raise safety awareness, and improve safe work practices. Responsibilities include conducting and coordinating worker training in safety laws and regulations, and investigating industrial accidents. This is a contract-to-possible-perm role with a long-term need for the client and requires on-site work.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree required
• Must have knowledge of industrial electricity
• 5 years of safety experience
• Thorough knowledge of applicable regulations (OSHA, ANSI, NFPA)
• Ability to communicate with employees at all levels
• Ability to travel as required
• Must be able to work 40+ hours/week and be available any day of the week
