About The Position

The Corporate Risk Management Specialist owns three things that keep Jackson Healthcare's enterprise insurance program audit-ready and compliant across every subsidiary: the Certificate of Insurance program, Patient Compensation Fund (PCF) enrollment and compliance, and day-to-day policy administration. This role is the enterprise's single point of accountability for COI accuracy, PCF standing, and clean policy records — partnering closely with the Corporate Insurance Program Lead on renewal timing and with company stakeholders who depend on accurate, timely documentation.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in insurance compliance, COI administration, or regulatory program management required, ideally in a healthcare or multi-location organization
  • Demonstrated experience owning Certificate of Insurance programs and multi-state compliance or regulatory filing requirements required
  • Proficiency in risk management information systems (RMIS) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) required

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Risk Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience considered
  • Experience in a healthcare or corporate shared-services risk environment preferred
  • Familiarity with property and liability insurance coordination and claims investigation preferred
  • Prior experience in a regulated, multi-state compliance function preferred

Responsibilities

  • Own the renewal Certificate of Insurance process and overall insurance compliance program, ensuring accuracy and timely turnaround across all enterprise policies
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for companies and external parties on COI requests and questions
  • Pull and file Certificates of Insurance directly from proof-of-insurance systems, keeping enterprise-wide coverage documentation audit-ready
  • Coordinate with the Corporate Insurance Program Lead to ensure COI issuance aligns with binding timelines and renewal deadlines
  • Own PCF enrollment and compliance across all applicable states, ensuring every required entity and provider is enrolled and in good standing
  • Track state-specific PCF deadlines, filings, and payment cycles, escalating any risk of lapse well ahead of time
  • Serve as the go-to resource for internal teams on PCF status, requirements, and state-specific rules
  • Maintain accurate PCF records in Origami and coordinate with brokers and state fund contacts as needed
  • Maintain a comprehensive Schedule of Insurance
  • Maintain a complete, organized record of insurance applications, proposals, binders, policies, and invoices in Origami
  • Submit and track insurance invoices through Workday
  • Manage policy document filing and ensure records stay current as policies renew, endorse, or expire
  • Maintain sole login access to and monitor all monopolistic state fund portals; process related payments
  • Partner with the Corporate Insurance Program Lead and Sr. Director on renewal strategy, providing COI, PCF, and policy status context
  • Coordinate with the Risk & Claims Operations Specialist where PCF and credentialing data intersect
