Valley of the Sun United Way is celebrating 100 years of impact with a bold vision for the future: Mighty Change in health, housing, education, and workforce development. This once-in-a-century milestone is more than a celebration, it’s a call to action. We are harnessing the urgency of now, building on a century of progress, and fueling momentum with transformational leadership that inspires others to step forward. Rooted in community and partnership, we believe leadership is not about going alone, but about bringing others along to multiply impact. As we are launching a historic $100 Million Anniversary Campaign, we invite visionary leaders to join us in shaping the next 100 years for the Valley. Corporate partnerships and workplace giving have been central to United Way’s impact for generations, and today they remain one of the most powerful ways companies and employees come together to strengthen our community. The Corporate Relations Manager represents a revenue growth opportunity focused on activating underleveraged, high-potential corporate partnerships and expanding workplace giving, employee engagement, leadership giving, sponsorship, and volunteer participation. This role manages a centralized portfolio of approximately 150 growth-potential corporate accounts and is responsible for identifying the companies with the strongest readiness, timing, and alignment for increased engagement. Using data insights, historical giving patterns, corporate social responsibility priorities, and relationship intelligence, the Corporate Relations Manager develops segmented outreach strategies that uncover near-term opportunities and build a pipeline for sustainable growth. A key responsibility for this position is to lead a short-term, high-capacity outreach model through Loaned Executives. The Corporate Relations Manager will quickly onboard train, coach, deploy, and manage Loaned Executives over a three-month campaign timeline, ensuring consistent messaging, disciplined follow-up, accurate documentation, and effective account prioritization. Through this coordinated model, the role expands VSUW’s outreach capacity and surfaces viable opportunities for renewed or increased corporate engagement. Following the Loaned Executive outreach period, the Corporate Relations Manager is responsible for cultivating and advancing the highest potential opportunities identified through that work. During the remaining months of the year, the Manager deepens relationships with priority accounts, moves prospects through appropriate next steps, connects companies to workplace giving, volunteer engagement, sponsorship, leadership giving, and other partnership strategies, and ensures that promising opportunities are converted into sustained revenue growth and long-term corporate investment in community impact.
