About The Position

The Corporate Recruiter will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization. This position requires an extremely perceptive person, with a high degree of initiative, who is capable of understanding technical roles.

Requirements

  • 10 years of recruiting experience.
  • 5 years of recruiting experience in the power or oil and gas industries.
  • Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Must be authorized to work in the USA.

Responsibilities

  • Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.
  • Collaborates with department managers and managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
  • Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
  • Posts job requisitions in HRIS system.
  • Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
  • Checks employment applications and examines work history, education and training, job skills, compensation needs, and other qualifications of applicants.
  • Informs applicants of job duties and responsibilities, compensation and benefits, work schedules and working conditions, company policies, promotional opportunities, and other related information.
  • Keeps records of applicants not selected for employment.
  • May perform reference and background checks on applicants.
  • Coordinates skills, intelligence, or psychological testing of applicants.
  • Evaluates selection and placement techniques by conducting research or follow-up activities and conferring with management and supervisory personnel.
  • Performs focused searches for difficult to fill roles.
  • Tracks metrics such as time to hire, new hire turnover, cost of hire, etc.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Prepares for ISO 9001 and other audits.
