About The Position

We have an exciting opportunity to add a Corporate Recruiter to our team in Charleston, SC! We’re building and strengthening a high‑performing recruiting team within government contracting. Our recruiters run full‑cycle desks and collaborate closely with hiring managers, HR partners, and a dedicated group of Recruiting Assistants. While we have solid tools and systems in place, our success is driven by strong teamwork, adaptability, and resourcefulness as we support critical hiring needs across the organization. We also contribute to employment branding efforts to ensure SRC’s opportunities are well‑represented in the marketplace. You’re proactive, organized, and operate with a strong sense of urgency while maintaining accuracy. You communicate clearly, build trust with candidates and hiring managers, and navigate a fast‑paced environment with confidence. You approach recruiting with curiosity, competitiveness, and professionalism—reviewing resumes thoroughly, interviewing thoughtfully, and assessing technical competence and organizational fit with care. You’re a strong partner to hiring managers, a welcoming guide for candidates, and a reliable contributor to team success. You bring positive energy, adapt quickly to changing priorities, and remain committed to presenting qualified candidates. You take ownership of your workload, manage requisitions independently, and consistently follow best practices in screening, candidate engagement, and documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least two years of recruiting experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage professionally with candidates and hiring teams
  • Effective organizational and manual/administrative skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple tasks with accuracy and professionalism
  • Commitment to maintaining compliance with employment policies, procedures, and best practices

Nice To Haves

  • Established network of cleared and un‑cleared technology professionals (SMEs, engineers, cyber, SETA, etc.)
  • Experience supporting or recruiting transitioning military candidates
  • Experience using iCIMS ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, ClearanceJobs, Indeed, or other sourcing platforms

Responsibilities

  • Sourcing and reviewing resumes and employment applications to assess technical competence, skills, background, goals, and fit
  • Conducting interviews and screen applicants to ensure alignment with job requirements and organizational needs
  • Assisting hiring managers in selecting the most qualified candidates and arrange interviews
  • Coordinating employment offers with applicants, hiring managers, and Human Resources
  • Facilitating arrangements for travel, reporting dates, security clearances, and employment processing
  • Serving as a professional and informed point of contact throughout the hiring process
  • Maintaining positive relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and external partners as needed
  • Supporting occasional outreach to college, university, and community placement offices to strengthen pipelines
  • Updating and maintaining accurate candidate information in recruiting databases and systems (iCIMS)
  • Preparing job posting copy as needed
  • Collaborating with Recruiting Assistants and team members to ensure smooth recruitment workflow
  • Performing other related duties to support overall recruiting functions and team goals
