About The Position

The Larson Group Peterbilt is looking for an experienced Corporate Recruiter to join their dynamic team. The Corporate Recruiter’s primary responsibility is to assist assigned TLG locations in all aspects of recruiting qualified talent. This position will engage in interviews, online job board searches, Career Fairs, Local School outreach, and professional networking with travel required.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma and at least 3 years of experience as a recruiter is required.
  • Must be able to demonstrate sufficient knowledge of various web based applications and recruitment software.
  • Must be a proficient verbal and written communicator.

  • Experience in recruiting or similar field
  • A bachelor’s degree in human resources or communications is preferred.
  • A customer service oriented disposition is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Meets with managers and supervisors to develop specific recruiting plans for assigned locations.
  • Assists with managing on-line recruiting platforms.
  • Provides information on company operations and job opportunities to potential applicants.
  • Maintains records of recruiting activities as required.
  • Schedules and attends job/career fairs with appropriate staff to generate qualified applicants.
  • Collaborates with recruiting manager to develop and maintain professional relationships with college, university, and high school placement offices as a source to generate qualified applicants.
  • Ensures the assigned locations are equipped with all the tools and guidance necessary for successful independent recruitment.
