About The Position

Reserv’s People Operations team manages recruiting, onboarding, HR, and learning and development. The Corporate Recruiter owns the end-to-end pipeline for corporate and operations hiring, including strategy, legal, account management, finance, and People Operations roles. The work focuses on engaging passive candidates—such as former consultants, lawyers, and senior client-facing professionals—through a credible, compelling, and discreet approach. Searches may be confidential and senior-level. The recruiter may also support technology or claims hiring as the team grows. The role offers significant autonomy and requires building momentum quickly in a fast-moving environment.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of full life-cycle recruiting experience, including meaningful experience filling professional services or corporate roles such as strategy, legal, finance, or account management.
  • Demonstrated ability to source and close passive candidates through direct outreach, including LinkedIn, cold calling, and referrals.
  • Strong market-mapping and competitive-intelligence skills, with an outbound-first sourcing approach.
  • Consultative, client-advisory mindset and ability to serve as a trusted advisor to hiring leaders and senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including outreach that earns responses from senior candidates.
  • High discretion and sound judgment, with experience owning confidential searches from intake through offer.
  • Ability to manage multiple searches, work independently, and thrive under tight timelines.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Background at a boutique or mid-market retained executive search firm, an in-house executive recruiting team, or an RPO provider with an executive search practice.
  • Familiarity with professional-services talent pools, including former consultants, investment bankers, lawyers, and senior account managers, and with their motivations and effective candidate pitches.

Responsibilities

  • Own sourcing strategy and build pipelines for corporate and operations roles, including strategy, legal, finance, account management, and People Operations.
  • Source candidates from scratch through targeted LinkedIn outreach, cold calling, and referral networks, including candidates who are not actively looking.
  • Engage passive candidates and conduct initial screens to assess skills, experience, and fit; move qualified candidates through the process efficiently.
  • Partner with hiring managers and provide market intelligence on candidate availability, compensation benchmarks, and realistic timelines.
  • Challenge unnecessarily restrictive requirements and create urgency while maintaining candidate quality.
  • Own the applicant tracking system as the source of truth, maintain accurate pipeline data, and report search status and bottlenecks to leadership.
  • Drive offers from recommendation through acceptance, manage compensation discussions with candidates, and keep hiring managers and People Operations aligned.
  • Handle confidential and senior-level searches with discretion and sound judgment.
  • Potentially support technology or claims hiring as the team scales.

Benefits

  • Generous health-insurance package with nationwide coverage, vision, and dental.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching.
  • Competitive paid time off policy.
  • Generous family leave policy after 8 months of continuous work.
  • Work from anywhere.
  • Apple laptop, large second monitor, and other quality-of-life equipment as needed.
