About The Position

Are you passionate about connecting great people with meaningful careers? We're looking for an energetic Recruiter to join our Otterbein Staffing Agency team. As a Recruiter, you will lead the full-cycle recruitment process for assigned positions and serve as the face of OSA's employment opportunities across Ohio, Indiana, and Michigan.

Requirements

  • 2 Years + recruiting or talent acquisition experience required.
  • Knowledge of full-cycle recruiting principles, sourcing techniques, and interviewing best practices.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for assigned positions, from sourcing through onboarding and the employee's first scheduled shift.
  • Actively source candidates through job boards, referrals, social media, and other recruiting channels.
  • Screen resumes, conduct phone interviews, perform reference checks, and evaluate candidate qualifications.
  • Manage the applicant tracking system by posting positions, updating candidate statuses, and maintaining accurate applicant records.
  • Present employment offers.
  • Coordinate onboarding and new hire orientation with various Otterbein locations.
  • Maintain regular communication with prospective employees throughout the hiring process.
  • Collect and verify credentials completed during new hire orientation.
  • Ensure employee files are complete and compliant with all required documentation.
  • Hire employees in the HRIS, including validating tax jurisdictions.
  • Develop a strong understanding of Otterbein systems and train new employees on required platforms.
  • Assist new employees with scheduling their first shifts.
  • Provide daily recruitment updates to the Director.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
