About The Position

The Paralegal performs a range of para-professional duties under the supervision of one or more attorneys in SAIC’s Legal department. The role provides legal and administrative support to the Office of General Counsel across areas that may include legal drafting, governance, employment law research and support, trademarks and intellectual property, investigations, litigation support, and general corporate matters. It is suited to an organized, highly motivated, detail-oriented professional with excellent writing skills who wants to develop their skills in a fast-paced corporate legal environment. The position has a hybrid work environment with three days in SAIC’s Reston office. The Paralegal drafts legal documents, assists with corporate documents and filings, conducts legal and factual research, supports due diligence for corporate transactions or audits, responds to routine internal questions, and assists with SEC filings and proxy-related matters. The role also maintains standard contracts and other department documents, tracks legal deadlines, supports trademark matters as needed, and interacts with legal colleagues, outside counsel, internal clients, and—under attorney supervision—third parties such as government agencies and contractors. Additional duties may be delegated by supervising attorneys or senior paralegals.
