About The Position

Solomon Ward is seeking an experienced Corporate/M&A/Transactional Partner to join our thriving corporate practice. You will handle sophisticated matters for a diverse client base, including M&A, financings, commercial contract negotiations, and general corporate matters. Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of private law firm experience in financings, M&A, and general transactional matters.
  • Active California bar admission.
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills, with sound business judgment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a client-service mindset.
  • Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment.

Nice To Haves

  • A portable book of business is a plus, but not necessarily required.

Responsibilities

  • Handle sophisticated matters for a diverse client base, including M&A, financings, commercial contract negotiations, and general corporate matters.
  • Work closely with clients and fellow partners on financings, restructurings and recapitalizations.
  • Work closely with clients and fellow partners on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other strategic transactions.
  • Work closely with clients and fellow partners on general corporate counseling, entity formations, and governance.
  • Work closely with clients and fellow partners on influencer, entertainment, and celebrity representation matters.
