Requirements

4-6 years of experience working with private equity funds, independent sponsors, and portfolio companies in connection with M&A transactions, capital raises, and debt and securities offerings
Experience drafting operating and partnership agreements
Experience attending to the day-to-day needs of portfolio companies
Well-versed in the mechanics of leading an M&A transaction from inception to closing
Experience with majority and minority equity issuances made in conjunction with M&A transactions
General corporate and corporate governance experience
Ability to work effectively as part of a team across practice areas
Willingness to train junior associates
Strong academic background
Superior drafting and research skills
Experience negotiating important transaction documents
Ability to draft M&A transaction documents
Diligent, detail-oriented, proactive, supportive, team-oriented, and personable
Admitted to the Texas Bar
