About The Position
A leading law firm is seeking a Corporate M&A Associate Attorney to join its Miami office. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing public and private companies, private equity sponsors, investors, and strategic buyers and sellers in sophisticated mergers & acquisitions transactions and general corporate matters.
Requirements
- 5–6 years of corporate transactional experience at a large law firm
- Significant experience with mergers & acquisitions transactions and joint ventures required
- Experience advising clients on corporate governance and general corporate matters
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills
- Experience managing due diligence and transaction workstreams
- Desire for significant responsibility, client interaction, and teamwork
- Excellent academic credentials
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required
- Florida bar admission required or ability to become admitted
Responsibilities
- Representing public and private companies, private equity sponsors, investors, and strategic buyers and sellers in sophisticated mergers & acquisitions transactions and general corporate matters.
- Advising clients on corporate governance and general corporate matters.
