About The Position

Victory Automotive Group is seeking an experienced Corporate Legal & Compliance Manager to oversee the day-to-day administration of legal, licensing, compliance, and regulatory matters across our growing network of automotive dealerships and related businesses. This position serves as the primary internal coordinator for legal and regulatory matters, partnering closely with executive leadership, Human Resources, Operations, Finance, Risk Management, and outside legal counsel. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. This role does not require a law license but does require substantial experience in legal administration, corporate compliance, paralegal work, contract management, or a related field. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in: Corporate legal department, Law firm, Corporate compliance, Contract administration, or Senior paralegal role.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to manage confidential information.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and track legal matters involving outside counsel.
  • Serve as primary liaison between company leadership and external attorneys.
  • Manage litigation tracking, document requests, and case status reporting.
  • Maintain legal files, corporate records, and document retention systems.
  • Assist with preparation and review of contracts, agreements, and legal correspondence.
  • Manage dealership, business, occupational, and regulatory licenses across multiple states.
  • Coordinate renewals, applications, amendments, and reporting requirements.
  • Track compliance deadlines and maintain licensing databases.
  • Assist with DMV, state agency, and regulatory filings.
  • Maintain corporate entity records and organizational documents.
  • Coordinate annual reports and state business filings.
  • Assist with entity formations, dissolutions, acquisitions, and organizational changes.
  • Manage corporate records and ownership documentation.
  • Coordinate insurance claims and requests for information.
  • Assist with policy renewals and insurance compliance matters.
  • Track claims activity and communicate with brokers and carriers.
  • Assist Human Resources with legal document management.
  • Coordinate responses to agency charges, subpoenas, and legal requests.
  • Support employment-related compliance projects and investigations.
  • Maintain centralized contract repository.
  • Track renewal dates and termination provisions.
  • Coordinate contract execution and approval workflows.
  • Assist departments with vendor and service agreements.
  • Manage multiple legal and compliance projects simultaneously.
  • Develop tracking systems and reporting tools.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce risk.
