About The Position

The Corporate HR Manager is responsible for leading day-to-day human resources operations for Anovaeon’s corporate employee population while serving as the primary HR point of contact for on-site HR managers supporting contract locations across multiple states. This remote leadership role ensures compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws; partners with business leaders to improve the employee experience; and develops scalable HR programs, standard operating procedures, and tools that support the full employee lifecycle. The ideal candidate is a strategic and hands-on HR professional with strong multi-state compliance knowledge, experience in employee relations and performance management, and the ability to support a geographically dispersed workforce in a high-accountability environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive human resources experience, including demonstrated responsibility for HR operations, employee relations, compliance, and performance management.
  • Strong working knowledge of federal employment laws and multi-state HR compliance requirements.
  • Experience supporting leave administration and accommodations, including ADA, FMLA, military leave, and related processes.
  • Experience developing or improving recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle programs.
  • Experience creating SOPs, process documentation, training materials, and practical HR tools for managers and employees.
  • Strong communication, professionalism, judgment, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust across all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.
  • Proficiency with HRIS platforms, Microsoft Office applications, and standard HR reporting/documentation practices.

  • Employees must adhere to all federal security, confidentiality, and operational protocols while working within government facilities.

  • Internal background check to the satisfaction of contract requirements.
  • If applicable, Child Abuse/ Neglect Report (CAN) or child protective services check with no adverse findings.
  • Ability to sit and work at a computer workstation for extended periods.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in virtual meetings, by phone, and through written correspondence.
  • Ability to review detailed documentation and perform repetitive computer-based tasks with accuracy.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience supporting HR operations for government contracts, regulated facilities, or similarly complex operational environments.
  • Experience supporting distributed or multi-site workforces across multiple states.
  • Professional HR certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR.
  • Experience assisting with benefit administration, open enrollment support, and employee education related to benefits offerings.
  • Demonstrated success partnering with business leaders to improve employee experience, strengthen HR processes, and support organizational growth.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily HR operations for corporate employees.
  • Provide guidance, oversight, and support to on-site HR managers assigned to contract locations throughout the United States.
  • Monitor and interpret multi-state employment laws and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure compliant HR practices, policies, documentation, and processes.
  • Provide guidance and resolution support on employee relations matters.
  • Manage performance issues, corrective action, workplace concerns, and policy interpretation.
  • Partner with leaders to address issues consistently, professionally, and in alignment with company standards and legal requirements.
  • Develop and continuously improve recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle processes.
  • Support business needs while enhancing employee engagement and retention.
  • Ensure new hire processes, orientation practices, and transition points are effective, compliant, and well documented.
  • Create, implement, and maintain HR standard operating procedures, training materials, and process documentation.
  • Support talent development initiatives.
  • Work with managers to identify opportunities to strengthen leadership capability, employee performance, and overall team effectiveness.
  • Administer and provide guidance on leave programs and accommodations, including ADA, FMLA, military leave, and other applicable federal and state leave requirements.
  • Assist with benefits administration.
  • Support employee communications related to benefit programs and eligibility.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and business leaders to assess organizational needs.
  • Recommend HR solutions and ensure the company has the tools, processes, and support necessary to deliver a positive employee experience.
  • Maintain a high standard of professionalism and responsiveness in all employee and stakeholder communications.
