About The Position

The Corporate Governance team is dedicated to support the effective and efficient management of Capital’s regulated fund companies, investment advisors and certain affiliates. We instill governance that fosters efficient and timely decision making and oversight consistent with relevant regulations, rules, and obligations. As a Corporate Governance Associate Senior, you will help to ensure we comply with regulations, requirements, and policies. You’ll leverage your passion for process optimization to support our global compliance controls and ownership reporting. You’ll prepare, coordinate, and finalize documentation for routine regulatory filings, specialized fund board materials, applicable legal requirements and assist in broader department communication. Every day will be different as you partner with our in-house lawyers, fund officers, compliance managers, and investment operations professionals to assist our portfolio compliance operations and global regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Detail-oriented with conscious processes that demonstrate a commitment to accuracy.
  • Skilled in researching and cross-referencing different sources of information to uncover gaps and discrepancies.
  • Ability to connect dots by vacillating between seeing the big picture and dissecting precise details.
  • Appreciation for the sense of accomplishment achieved when solving a problem using good judgment.
  • Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to learn other technologies to enhance the ability to automate, refine, and streamline processes, board materials, and broad communication.
  • Enjoy collaborating with associates at all levels to prepare presentations and communication for the broader department.
  • Proactively share perspective by asking great questions and bouncing ideas off others.
  • Skilled communicator (both oral and written).
  • Thrive in team settings by being authentic, respectful, and engaging.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the securities or investment management industry is a plus.
