The Corporate & Foundation Officer II (CFR Officer II) is responsible for the cultivation and development of corporate and foundation relationships, managing a portfolio of assigned prospects. This role focuses on establishing new corporate and foundation relationships to secure major gifts and philanthropic partnerships. The CFR Officer II will work closely with and in support of assigned Platform Leaders to achieve fundraising goals, developing and executing platform-specific CFR support plans. A key emphasis is on developing high-value foundation relationships that result in significant philanthropic commitments to support the mission and goals of WFBMC. The role involves coordinating proposal and relationship plan development for various forms of financial support and philanthropic partnerships, managing a portfolio of over 120 prospects with a focus on gifts between $250K–$750K. Additionally, the CFR Officer II will advise faculty, administrators, and staff on corporate and foundation interests, cultivation strategies, and proposal development, while also initiating interactions between institutional leaders and prospects. The position requires maintaining a rigorous schedule of contacts, developing compelling presentations and proposals, managing proposal deadlines, and ensuring a high-quality stewardship process. The role leverages tools like the Foundation Directory and research reports for prospect investigation and cultivation, pursuing all avenues of opportunity including site visits and sharing programmatic updates.
