Corporate Financial Analyst
About The Position
Etnyre is a family-owned original equipment manufacturer (OEM) with over 125 years of industry experience. We design and manufacture premium road maintenance equipment with a strong commitment to quality, innovation, and craftsmanship. Etnyre is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Corporate FP&A Financial Analyst to join our finance team in our Naperville office. This role plays a critical part in driving financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and delivering analytical insights that support key business decisions. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical capabilities, a solid accounting foundation, and a collaborative mindset.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in finance, FP&A, or accounting
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel required
- Experience with ERP systems (EPICOR preferred)
- Solid understanding of GAAP and internal controls
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Manufacturing experience preferred but not required
- MBA (or active progression toward an MBA) is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of consolidated financial reports for management and stakeholders
- Ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance with GAAP and other accounting standards
- Perform variance analysis comparing actual results against budget and prior year
- Provide clear and actionable insights into key financial performance indicators
- Support the development of annual budgets and periodic forecasts
- Partner with business units to gather assumptions and financial inputs
- Contribute to long-term strategic planning initiatives
- Evaluate financial impacts of business decisions and initiatives
- Support both organic/global growth and inorganic growth strategies
- Support Etnyre’s digital transformation to modernize financial data capabilities
- Leverage AI, BI, and analytics tools to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency
- Analyze and monitor costs to identify efficiencies and improvement opportunities
- Collaborate with operational teams to optimize expenses
- Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting and scenario planning
- Continuously update models with actual data to improve accuracy
- Serve as a strategic partner to departments across the organization
- Translate financial data into actionable business insights
- Conduct financial analysis to address business questions and challenges
- Provide recommendations to support decision-making
- Identify and implement improvements to enhance FP&A processes
- Improve efficiency and accuracy in financial planning activities
