About The Position

Robinhood's Corporate Finance team is central to the company's planning, decision-making, and growth. This role partners directly with senior leadership to shape financial strategy. The Corporate Finance Analyst will play a key role in company-wide financial planning, translating complex data into clear insights, driving efficient business processes, and building scalable infrastructure. This is a high-visibility, individual contributor role where analysis and recommendations will directly influence leadership's understanding and actions regarding the business.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field of study.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in financial planning & analysis, investment banking, finance, or management consulting.
  • Ability to work horizontally and vertically in an organization with peers as well as senior leaders.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, logical reasoning, and the presentation of potential solutions.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the business judgment to balance details while not losing sight of the big picture, and an ability to determine the “why” behind the numbers.
  • Excellent proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, and interest in developing sophisticated querying/modeling skills.
  • Proven track record of managing priorities simultaneously and driving projects.
  • Experience in applying financial systems for data input and reporting, and the ability to build and maintain relevant reporting hierarchies for use within the system.
  • A positive attitude; creative, a hard worker, curious, and maintain a can-do approach.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with analytical tools (SQL, Looker) and financial reporting software (Oracle, Anaplan).

Responsibilities

  • Playing a key role in recurring FP&A processes, including forecasting, monthly analyses, budgeting, financial system oversight, and management reporting.
  • Synthesizing and distilling key financial and business insights for leadership, including analyzing results, business KPIs, assessing risk, and communicating timely risks and opportunities.
  • Developing and executing company-wide annual planning processes, financial forecasts, and ongoing analysis of variances.
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements and cost efficiency measures across the company.
  • Being a thought leader to improve and simplify processes, drive standardization, and build scalable solutions to support Robinhood's growth.
  • Designing and building the financial infrastructure to automate and support business and operations.
