About The Position

The Corporate Facility and Maintenance Technician directs or assists with the corporate-wide maintenance and custodial program in order to maintain all facilities, grounds and equipment in a sanitary, functional, attractive and orderly condition. The Corporate Facility and Maintenance Technician confers with the General Services Manager or General Services Director before initiating expenditures of more than $500 cost. In their absence, the Corporate Facility and Maintenance Technician may initiate emergency repairs not to exceed $1,000.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Two years’ experience in general maintenance, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and/or painting.
Broad knowledge of construction, repair, maintenance and service procedures, practices, problems and compliance, including procurement, cost-benefit analysis and cost control.
Licenses/certifications in mechanical (HVAC), plumbing, or electrical.
Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License.
Must provide a current motor vehicle record.
Must provide current personal owner liability automobile insurance and must maintain the insurance coverage throughout the course of employment in this position.
Must comply with PMS Policies on Automobile Usage, II.D.3, Drug Free Workplace, III.H and applicable state and federal laws.

Landscaping and mechanical systems knowledge preferred.
