About The Position

Join Konica Minolta as our Corporate Events Manager and help create experiences that inspire, connect, and drive business results. Based in Ramsey, NJ with a hybrid schedule (onsite Monday through Thursday, remote Fridays), this role is responsible for developing and delivering exclusive, high-impact events that strengthen customer relationships, enhance brand visibility, and support company growth. The Corporate Events Manager leads the strategy and execution of a diverse portfolio of programs, including sales incentive trips, executive leadership events, customer advisory meetings, VIP experiences, industry events, tradeshows, and internal company programs. Working closely with Executive Leadership, Sales, Marketing, and external partners, this individual will bring Konica Minolta's brand to life through memorable experiences that engage audiences, build loyalty, and create meaningful business impact.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field required
  • 5+ years of event marketing, experiential marketing, hospitality, executive events, incentive travel, or corporate events experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PPT)
  • Ability to work across all levels including senior level executives within Konica Minolta and partnering with external organizations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with collaborative decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategy, planning, and execution of sales incentive trips, executive leadership retreats, customer appreciation events, advisory councils, hospitality programs, and VIP experiences.
  • Curate unique, memorable, and personalized experiences that strengthen relationships with key customers, dealer partners, sales leaders, and executive stakeholders.
  • Identify and manage destination management companies (DMCs), hospitality partners, luxury venues, entertainment providers, travel partners, and experiential vendors.
  • Develop event concepts and itineraries that align with business objectives while delivering exceptional attendee experiences.
  • Manage travel, accommodations, executive transportation, dining programs, gifting, entertainment, and on-site logistics.
  • Partner with Executive Leadership and Sales teams to understand attendee needs and create customized engagement opportunities.
  • Ensure a seamless, white-glove experience before, during, and after each event.
  • Collaborate with Executive Leadership, Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and other stakeholders to identify opportunities for relationship-building experiences that support business objectives.
  • Present concepts, recommendations, budgets, and event strategies to senior leadership.
  • Manage event budgets, contracts, negotiations, and vendor relationships to maximize experience quality and return on investment.
  • Measure event success through attendee feedback, engagement metrics, business outcomes, and post-event reporting.
  • Partner with Brand, Content, and Campaign teams to ensure event experiences reflect Konica Minolta's brand standards and business priorities.
  • Support the development of event-specific messaging, materials, gifting programs, and experiential elements.
  • Identify innovative event formats, destinations, and engagement opportunities that differentiate Konica Minolta in the marketplace.
  • Support the planning and execution of corporate events, industry conferences, tradeshows, internal meetings, and digital events.
  • Collaborate with Marketing teams to implement promotional campaigns supporting events and tradeshows.
  • Work with Product Management and Logistics teams to coordinate product shipments and event materials when needed.
  • Oversee venue logistics, vendor coordination, event operations, and onsite event management.
  • Ensure all events are delivered in accordance with brand standards, company policies, and safety requirements.
