About The Position

The Corporate Document Control Coordinator is responsible for managing and maintaining the electronic and hard-copy document control system, ensuring all documents are accurately indexed, stored, and easily retrievable. This role oversees the entire document lifecycle, including creation, review, approval, distribution, revision, and archival/disposal of controlled documents. The coordinator ensures all document control processes adhere strictly to the requirements of the company's certified ISO standards and participates in internal and external ISO audits as the subject matter expert. They also process and track all document change requests (DCRs), provide training to employees on document control procedures and DMS usage, and maintain the Master Document List (MDL).

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a dedicated document control role in an ISO-certified environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the electronic and hard-copy document control system, ensuring all documents are accurately indexed, stored, and easily retrievable.
  • Oversee the entire document lifecycle, including creation, review, approval, distribution, revision, and archival/disposal of controlled documents (e.g., policies, procedures, work instructions, forms, specifications).
  • Ensure all document control processes adhere strictly to the requirements of the company's certified ISO standards.
  • Participate in internal and external ISO audits as the subject matter expert for document control.
  • Process and track all document change requests (DCRs), ensuring proper authorization and impact assessment before new revisions are released.
  • Maintain a comprehensive revision history and audit trail.
  • Provide training to employees on document control procedures and the effective use of the DMS.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all document control inquiries.
  • Maintain the Master Document List (MDL) or equivalent register, ensuring it is current and reflects the status and location of all controlled documents.
