About The Position

Concord Hospitality Enterprises is seeking a Corporate Director of Sales & Marketing (CDSM) to support various hotels across its portfolio. This is a task force-oriented role requiring significant travel (80-90%) and allows for remote work from home when not in the field. The ideal candidate must be located near a major airport hub in an existing multi-hotel Concord market. This position offers a great opportunity to train, motivate, and develop hotel sales leaders, work with new acquisitions, troubleshoot for hotels in need, and assist in hotel openings. Requirements

  • Must be able to be on the road 80% of the time.
  • 5+ years of Marketing experience preferred.
  • Deep understanding of how to drive revenue in each segment.
  • Multiple brands experience to include (major hotel brands) - Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, IHG, Wyndham, boutique, luxury and lifestyle and resort hotels.
  • Diverse CRM experience to include Delphi, Infor, CI/TY, SFA and Envision.
  • Able to handle hotel projects simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of revenue management.
  • Can manage content strategies, brand strategy development, portfolio level marketing.
  • Great leadership skills and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership or direct sales focus depending on assignment.
  • Train team members and reinforce Concord sales processes in leadership-focused assignments.
  • Provide interim leadership in the absence of an on-property sales leader.
  • Identify target accounts and market opportunities in sales-driven assignments.
  • Execute prospecting strategies.
  • Document all activities within the hotel sales system to track performance and measure return on investment.
  • Support pre-opening, renovated, or transitioning hotels by leading sales and marketing efforts, including execution of pre-opening plans.
  • Contribute to key business functions such as marketing plan reviews, action planning, sales reviews, recruitment, and reporting.
  • Partner closely with Revenue Management and Digital Marketing to maximize results.
  • Maintain consistent communication with property and regional leadership, including the General Manager and Regional Vice President of Sales & Marketing, to ensure alignment and progress.
