Corporate Director, Government Reimbursement and Reporting

The Corporate Director Government Reimbursement and Reporting will serve as a lead in understanding and realization of various state and federal reimbursement programs and ensure compliance with all related reporting and attestations including cost reports, government stimulus and state supplemental payment programs.
Requirements
- Minimum of a BS/BA in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Minimum of 15 – 20 years healthcare finance experience with demonstrated knowledge of cost reporting and government payer oversight.
- Experience overseeing Interns & Residents program reimbursement, Medicare bad debts, S-10 Charity, and Total Hospital bad debt logs.
- Experience preparing monthly reserves.
- Knowledge of Federal and State DSH programs.
- Multi-state experience, ideally in CA, TX, MI, NJ, and PA.
- Strong background in financial analysis and cost accounting.
- Familiarity with Medicare regulations, terminology, and program guidelines for cost reporting.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with HFS cost reporting software is highly desirable.
- Able to interact with various patient accounting systems.
- Working knowledge of Excel.
