About The Position

The Corporate Development Director leads enterprise-wide growth initiatives across Pleasant Valley’s facility management, construction, real estate, and property management divisions. This role drives strategic market expansion, strengthens high-value client and partner relationships, and identifies opportunities that advance the company’s long-term business objectives. The Director collaborates closely with executive and division leadership to shape growth strategy, evaluate new opportunities, and ensure successful execution across all business lines.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive experience in corporate development, strategic partnerships, business development, or a related strategic growth role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or a related field preferred; an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
  • Intermediate knowledge of commercial construction, facility management, property management, and commercial real estate brokerage, with the ability to identify and pursue growth opportunities across multiple service lines.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze market trends, evaluate business opportunities, develop growth strategies, and support executive-level decision-making.
  • Proven success building and maintaining executive-level client, partner, and stakeholder relationships while collaborating effectively across cross-functional leadership teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise-wide business development initiatives by identifying new market opportunities, developing long-term growth strategies, and advancing corporate and divisional objectives across all Pleasant Valley service lines.
  • Build and strengthen executive-level relationships with clients, strategic partners, public agencies, and community stakeholders to drive client retention, business expansion, and long-term organizational value.
  • Oversee the strategic opportunity pipeline, including client onboarding, RFPs, proposals, contract strategy, and CRM forecasting to ensure successful pursuit and execution of new business opportunities.
  • Partner with executive and division leadership to identify cross-selling opportunities, develop integrated client solutions, and ensure enterprise-wide alignment in the execution of corporate development priorities.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and market conditions to provide actionable insights that inform strategic planning, corporate positioning, and future growth initiatives.
