About The Position

The Corporate Development Associate plays a critical role in supporting the strategic growth initiatives of the company by identifying, evaluating, and executing mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and other business development opportunities. This position involves conducting comprehensive market research and financial analysis to inform decision-making and support senior leadership in deal structuring and negotiations. The associate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including finance, legal, and operations to ensure seamless integration and alignment with corporate objectives. By maintaining a deep understanding of industry trends and competitive dynamics, the associate contributes to shaping the company’s long-term growth strategy. Ultimately, this role is essential in driving value creation and expanding the company’s market presence through strategic transactions and partnerships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, management consulting, or a related area.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and data analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare clear and concise reports and presentations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or advanced degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Experience working within a corporate development team or in a strategic role at a mid-to-large sized company.
  • Familiarity with legal and regulatory aspects of mergers and acquisitions.
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools and advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with project management software and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed financial modeling and valuation analyses to assess potential acquisition targets and partnership opportunities.
  • Perform market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities relevant to corporate development initiatives.
  • Support the due diligence process by coordinating with internal teams and external advisors to gather and analyze critical information.
  • Prepare presentations, investment memos, and reports for senior management and the board of directors to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Assist in negotiating deal terms and structuring transactions in collaboration with legal and finance teams.
  • Monitor and track the progress of ongoing deals and integration activities to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders including investment banks, consultants, and potential partners.
