About The Position

We leverage inorganic investments to diversify and accelerate growth including notable acquisitions such as Poly (video and audio collaboration), HyperX (gaming), and select assets of Humane (AI-platform). To support these initiatives, HP is seeking an ambitious, financially skilled and team-oriented professional to join the Corporate Development team. This individual will support inorganic transactions across HP’s Global Business Units acting as a trusted advisor, working closely with senior leaders to establish and drive M&A strategy, priorities, and deal execution.

Requirements

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Development, Transaction Services, Private Equity, or related fields, ideally within the technology sector.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related field.
• Advanced financial analysis, modeling, and valuation skills; strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent analytical judgment with the ability to tackle complex projects independently and identify root issues.
• Ability to understand abstract ideas and logically address project objectives with limited direction.
• Able to determine the facts of the case and reveal root issues
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to convey important messages in a clear & compelling manner.
• Fast learner able to adapt to new teams and work well under pressure.
• High capacity for work; able to maintain performance over long stretches of time.
• Resilient.
• Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to streamline and redesign deal workflows for measurable impact, such as efficiency gains, higher-quality output, or improved deal velocity.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain valuation and financial models.
• Prepare clear, data-driven presentations for executive decision-making.
• Support cross-functional due diligence teams, including coordinating question list preparation, and partnering with the business unit on forecast financial modeling.
• Develop and maintain strong industry and competitive knowledge.
• Conduct market, industry, and competitor research to support business strategy.
• Identify, screen and value M&A and investment opportunities
• Actively participate in enhancing Corporate Development practices and processes.
