About The Position

Gee Automotive Companies, recognized as a top employer in Washington and Oregon, is seeking a Corporate Development Analyst. This role is crucial to our expansion strategy, involving the evaluation, execution, and integration of acquisitions, as well as managing strategic communications with investors. Our unique model combines operations with private equity functions, raising capital from a select group of investors to acquire automotive dealerships, other retail businesses, ancillary businesses, and related real estate. With 57 dealerships and 45 franchises across the West, we are at a pivotal stage, seeking talent to fuel our growth and enhance our business architecture. Reporting to the Vice President of Corporate Development, this new team member will significantly influence the company's future by driving M&A and capital raising processes, alongside various corporate activities such as new business line analysis, forecasting, planning, project management, and process design and implementation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, corporate finance, or a comparable analytical role.
  • Strong financial modeling and quantitative analysis skills.
  • Solid understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and corporate finance concepts.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of valuation methodologies and financial analysis techniques.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively.
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic, exceptional organizational skills, intellectual curiosity, and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, eager to learn, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with business intelligence platforms, database tools, AI applications, or other data management and analytics systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to M&A program – analyze acquisition targets, complete due diligence, close transactions and integrate newly acquired businesses onto our platform
  • Support capital raising and management of investor relations function
  • Perform activities related to management of our growing real estate portfolio
  • Evaluate new markets and assess potential business adjacencies
  • Execute special projects for executive team that drive strategic value for the company
