Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Quality, Food Safety, or Manufacturing Quality roles, preferably in food or consumer-packaged goods industries.
  • Demonstrated experience working directly with customers on quality expectations and issue resolution.
  • Strong understanding of food safety and quality systems (e.g., GFSI schemes, HACCP, GMPs).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence without direct authority.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, Engineering, or a related technical field required.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., HACCP, PCQI, Six Sigma, ASQ) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the single point of contact for assigned customers on quality and food safety matters
  • Review, interpret, and maintain customer Supplier Quality and Supplier Expectation Manuals
  • Lead discussions with customers to clarify and align on quality and food safety program expectations
  • Communicate agreed-upon customer requirements internally and ensure deployment across manufacturing sites
  • Partner with Plant Quality, Food Safety, Operations, and cross-functional teams to implement customer requirements into site processes and controls
  • Lead customer complaint investigations at the corporate level and support site-led investigations as required, ensuring timely, risk based root cause analysis and implementation of effective corrective and preventive actions
  • Participate in corporate-led initiatives, including internal audits, quality system assessments, harmonization projects, and continuous improvement programs
  • Provide customer-driven feedback during reviews of corporate and site-level quality documentation
  • Evaluate and manage changes to customer quality and food safety requirements, ensuring appropriate impact assessment, communication, and implementation across sites.
